About Us

An idea of service, growing into a movement.

How It Started

Seven people. One resolve.

In April 2026, seven citizens of Pune came together with a simple question — "If not us, then who?"

That question became SILKA Social Foundation. In May 2026 the Foundation was formally registered by the Assistant Registrar of Societies, Pune Region, under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Reg. No. Maha/861/2026, Pune).

We operate on a strict no-profit, no-loss principle. Our beneficiary is never a particular individual — it is society as a whole — and every rupee received is used only for the Foundation's objectives.
